[h1]AP Biology[/h1] Welcome students! We will be traveling fast, but this is not going to be a hang on and enjoy the ride situation. Let's say we are white water rafting and to be successful everyone in the raft must participate. To that end; [b]read the material [/b], use the links given, especially the PowerPoints, do [b]all[/b] the homework, even if it is not going to be graded, and most importantly [em]ask for help[/em]. There will be group study sessions/tutoring 2 afternoons a week. You will earn 10 points extra credit for participation each time you come to a session. We will determine what days these will be, but I am leaning toward Tuesdays and Thursdays. We can try to have refreshments at these sessions to keep us alert. [b]USE THEM![/b] Develop questions for me by going through these PowerPoints. We will not have time in class to cover all the material required. Just the same, you will be responsible for all the material on the AP Exam. There will be 3 Saturday sessions at Wilber Cross High School. I will add the dates as soon as I have them. These are meant to be fun as well as informative. You are required to attend. Plan now to get those days off from work! There will be food and prizes and you will earn extra credit for going.
