Analyze the Graph

Study the graph above and make a hypothesis about the relationship between layers and temperatures. See if you notice any patterns.

Make a data table

Look at the graph of the atmosphere. Remember the independent variable is always graphed on the x-axis. Based on this information, create a data table showing how the temperature changes as the altitude changes. Hint: You will only have 1 trial for the dependent variable and no calculation column.
