Common Issues
Student not being saved
The most likely reason is that the ID number you entered for the new student is the same as an existing student's. Student IDs must be unique within a teacher account (and within all of the accounts for a school if the teacher has joined a school).
Student not on School Roster
If a student is not listed on the school roster, please contact your admin. Your school is set with
Strict Roster Mode, and when a new student is added to the school, your administrator has to add the student to the school before the student can be added to your class.

Common Issues
Transferring Students
Currently Engrade does not have the capacity to transfer students between classes and maintain their grades and attendances. Not all classes are built the same way so it is difficult to transfer information. Engrade is taking this into consideration. Our recommendation for now is to keep a hard copy somewhere so you can input their information into the other class.
