How to Upload Files
Files allows for our teachers to upload files such as power points, PDFs, docx, and images on to their accounts so that their students will be able to access them for homework or study guides. To upload a files to your account, please follow these easy instructions:
1. Hover over
Apps on the top blue bar and select
Files.
2. Click on
Browse and then select a file from your computer. You can choose to upload up to three at a time.
3. Once you have selected your files, click
Upload to upload your chosen files.
Video Uploads: We recommend because you are only allowed 100mb of space for files that teachers do not upload video files. What you can do, if you would like to attach a video to your class is create a Wiki for your video and lesson. Please click here for more information about

How to Upload Files
How to Attach Files to your Class
Once they have been uploaded, you will then have to attach these files to your classes. To do this you must utilize your Calendar feature. Your Calendar will allow you to attach files, wikis, flashcards, and quizzes to your specific class. All you need to do is follow these easy steps to attach files to your class:
1) Go to your class gradebook
2) Click on Calendar on the leftside menu
3) Hover your mouse over the Add New... button
4) Select Files
5) From the drop down menu, select a previously uploaded file or choose to upload a file from the Dashboard itself by clicking on Choose File and then Assign File when you are done

After attaching your files to your class through the Calendar, your students will be able to access them through their own Calendar feature in their accounts. All they have to do is login and click on the class name from their homepage. On the leftside menu, they should select Calendar to view all their attachments there.
When students click on a file that their teacher has attached, it is usually first downloaded from their browsers. Most file types that will download to their computer is usually word documents (.docx) and power points (.ppt). Depending on their browsers, students will have to find their Downloads folder for their browser or open their browser download history to open the file.
