ROWLAND STUDENTS
2010-2011
Introduction:
Hello my name is Mrs. Dickerson and I am one of the health and physical education teachers here at Rowland school.
This is my third year here at Rowland. A lot of people are probably thinking to themselves "I don't remember anybody named Mrs. Dickerson?" that is because my maiden name was Ms. Pagan. I recently got married so I now go by Mrs. D or Coach D. I am feeling really good about this upcoming school year and hope you are as well.
Whats new?
Other than my name I still have the same expectations as I did the previous years. We expect to be treated with the same respect that is given to your parents. This year we received a Nintendo Wii and will be incorporating it into our physical education curriculum. We will be using it during our fitness unit. It will be for exercise purposes not just for entertainment. We have the wii fit system along with the dance dance revolution with the play station 2. So we have a lot of exciting things going on this upcoming school year :-) Another thing that is different this year is I will be at Rowland for Days 1-4 and at Scott school on Days 5&6.
Expectations
1.To be respectful toward self and others
2.To never say CAN'T without trying it first
3.To just have FUN at all times
