Personal Health

What is Health?

"Health" is a word that is used a lot and can mean a variety of things. In this course we are going to be looking at your Physical and Emotional Heath.

Being healthy just means that your body can do normal daily tasks without injury or getting overly stressed. In order for this to happen, you need to eat the right fuel, keep your body strong and fit, and stay emotionally balanced so you don't get overwhelmed when a tough situation comes up.

Assignment & Deadline

You must complete all of the questions in the Personal Health section in your Graduation Transitions booklet. Answer in full sentences and use proper English.

Most of you will complete this section in your PE 12 class. If you are not taking PE 12 this year, you will need to complete it on your own. See your Academic Advisor if you need help (you will probably need help).

When you are finished the section, ask your counselor to look at it to make sure it is complete (and your answers are realistic!). Your counselor must sign at the end of the section to show they approve of your plan.
