Science

Week 1

Dear Fourth Grade students,

Welcome to Tarbiyah!

My name is Dr. Sara Tahir. I will be teaching Introduction to Science (Be a Scientist) this week and four lessons every week.
You may access the textbook on-line. You can look at each subject as a new adventure and try to extract the beauty of science and try to apply what you learn in life, you will feel how it is great.

Every week we will have two science assignments.

In the first week, I want to introduce to the kids why we are all here. The fact that man has been created to worship Allah SBT and this is what we are doing here at tarbiyah Alhamdullilah. We will learn to love science insha Allah and incorporate the beautiful Kalaam of Allah SBT, Qurane Kareem insha Allah and our Prophet sww 's sunnah into it.

Our goals are :

-increase our love for Allah SBT by learning to appreciate all the bounties that He Has Blessed us with...e.g to be able to eat( digestive system), and learn to think, investigate like a scientist and love science.

In this week we revised the basic concepts of the scientific method, cell, structures inside cell as these will be the beginning of our life science lessons from next week insha Allah.
