## How to Divide Integers

Rule # 1:**Same Signs**

When dividing integers with same signs, the quotient is always

**POSITIVE**

__Example__

10 / 10 = 1

-16 / (-4) = 4

Rule # 2:

**Different Signs**

When dividing integers with different signs, the quotient is always

**NEGATIVE**

__Example__

50 / -10 = -5

64 / (-4) = -16

**NOTE:**you may notice the rules for multiplying and dividing are practically the same. :)
